AMERICAN APPAREL..NEWS
Famed for its distinctive range of downtown jersey separates, LA clothing brand American Apparel looks set to take over beauty cupboards as well as wardrobes with its latest launch - a retro-look collection of nail polishes. Mirroring the company's keep-it-local philosophy, the 18 shades are inspired by all things American Apparel - from the manufactory floors (the storm-in-a-bottle Factory Grey), to accounting department notepads (a fresh minty green colour called Office). The turquoise-blue Peacock and ballerina-pink Rose Bowl shades are proving popular sellers and will make excellent complements to spring's strong, candy-coloured looks. £5 each, available from www.americanapparel.co.uk and at American Apparel stores nationwide.
